Muay Thai

Sometimes we face situations that come to us unpredictably. We feel unprepared and often stressed when we find ourselves in new and unexpected situations. In order to avoid stressing yourself out and adapt better to new situations, we strongly suggest you signing up for a Muay Thai boxing class and see yourself transform.

THE PERFECT WAY TO LEARN SELF DISCIPLINE AND DEAL WITH STRESS
Emerging in Thailand as their national sports, Muay Thai as a traditional form of martial arts teaches you above all important values such as self-discipline and respect for your teachers as well as opponents and in your daily life in general. Its origins can be traced nearly one millennium back, when this sport was first introduced in fact to defend at warfare, which later on developed into the national sport of Thailand.

By now, it has spread globally and eventually has found its way to the UAE. Muay Thai or synonymously Thai Boxing, is a powerful combat sport that not only tests your physical but above all mental strength. Literally, ‘Muay‘ means ‘boxing, kicking, pushing, and clinching,’ whereas ‘Thai’ stands for ‘free’. Interested in learning these free movements?

Our STRIKE Team of educated coaches will introduce you to this kind of martial arts.

INCREASE YOUR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL STRENGTH
We will prepare you to stay calm when facing hard times and better cope with stress. Our team will teach you the sport’s key essentials: endurance, self-discipline, self-confidence, mutual consideration and willpower. It is a sport that can be practiced by young as well as old, either for fun or in a competition, which is why it is suitable for everyone..

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED
The great thing is that you don’t need to have any previous experience if you want to participate in our class. Our experts will guide you step by step to different techniques and make you familiar with its traditions. This type of boxing is practiced in a classic sense with your bare fists. We teach you to strike bows with your bare fists, hands, elbows and knees as well as various clinching techniques as characteristic to the traditional Thai boxing. The body operates as one unit, so that all parts of your body will be trained the ability to response. Muay Thai gains importance not only as a mere sport but also has the additional bonus of teaching you self-defense.
